Bamaga residents are eligible for discounted fares under the Local Fare Scheme (LFS) which sees the Queensland State Government and Rex subsidising the cost of air travel. For $200 return residents can fly between the Northern Peninsular Area (NPA) and Cairns on the flexible Flex fare*.

HOW IT WORKS

• Visit the NPA Regional Council office to register as an eligible resident.
• Upon confirmation you will receive a letter of eligibility and unique scheme ID number.
• All bookings must be made in person at the NPA Council office or at Dreamtime Store in Bamaga.
