We aim to take you to your destination on time, every time. Please ensure you arrive at the airport with sufficient time for check-in and boarding.

As stated in the Rex Conditions of Carriage, check-in closes:

• 60 minutes prior to scheduled departure time at Burketown airport
• 30 minutes prior to scheduled departure time at capital city airports plus Cairns, Gold Coast and Townsville
• 30 minutes prior to scheduled departure time at all regional airports in NSW, SA, TAS, VIC, QLD and WA (excluding Burketown)

Passengers who fail to present themselves at check-in by this time may NOT be permitted to board and be deemed as a ‘No Show’ which may result in the forfeiture of your fare for certain fare classes.

Please familiarise yourself with our Minimum Connecting Times before making a booking with connecting flights.

Please refer to the below table for information about check-in and boarding times.

• All times are in minutes prior to scheduled departure time.
• Web check-in opens 48 hours and closes 60 minutes prior to scheduled departure time.
• Passengers with special requirements must check-in at the airport – refer to footnotes below.
• Failure to be ready for boarding at the boarding gate by the ‘Boarding Gate Closes’ time will result in exclusion from boarding, offloading of baggage if applicable as well as forfeiture of fare.
• For flight numbers between ZL7000 and ZL7999 (operated by National Jet Express for Rex): web check-in and kiosk check-in is not available. Passengers must check-in at the National Jet Express counter.
