Flying Instructors - AAPA
The Australian Airline Pilot Academy (AAPA) is seeking qualified Flying Instructors with Grade 1, 2 or 3 training endorsement at our expanding airline pilot training academy in Wagga Wagga NSW.

AAPA is a wholly owned subsidiary of Regional Express Holdings Ltd (Rex), Australia’s largest independent regional airline based at Wagga Wagga. AAPA provides the highest quality flight training to airline standards, including the successful delivery of the Rex Pilot Cadet Programme since 2007 and training a growing number of cadets destined for Vietnam Airlines, utilising Piper Warrior III and Seminole aircraft fitted with EFIS cockpits and advanced GPS equipment.
 
Reporting
This position reports to the Chief Pilot/ Chief Flying Instructor.


Essential Selection Criteria
•Australian ATPL(A) or CPL(A)
•Current Flight Instructor Rating with a Grade 1, 2 or 3 Training Endorsement

Preferred Selection Criteria
•At least 50 hours as a pilot of a multi-engine aeroplane
•Instrument Rating – Multi-engine Aeroplane
•Instrument Rating Training Endorsement
•Multi-engine Class Rating Training Endorsement
•Aerobatics Training Endorsement
•Cert IV in TAE

Successful applicants may be offered a position as a First Officer in Regional Express Pty Ltd (Rex) after being employed in AAPA as an instructor for three (3) years. This is subject to applicants meeting the normal recruitment requirements for Regional Express Pty Ltd.
