Monkey Mia

Drawing in people from all over the world, Monkey Mia is famous for its dolphin experience. The Dolphin Interaction occurs in the Shark Bay Marine Park, and visitors are able to get up close and personal with dolphins which have visited the area daily for 4 decades, alongside informative and trained rangers. Shark Bay is a World Heritage Area with plenty of marine activities for the whole family, such as fishing charters, snorkelling/diving or boat and kayak hire. Amongst the spectacular views, you may catch a glimpse of the abundant marine life, including bottlenose dolphins, dugongs, manta rays or loggerhead turtles. Other activities off the water include 4 Wheel Driving through the Francois Peron National Park, exploring beautiful beaches (including on a camel safari!), Aboriginal cultural tours, or checking out the world’s oldest living fossils: stromatolites at Hamelin Pool.
