With a variety of beaches, Esperance is the place to go for a beach getaway. Esperance is known for its clean beaches, crystal clear waters and is also home to the whitest beach in Australia, Lucky Bay. There are calm beaches perfect for snorkelling, beaches with waves for those who like to surf, and areas perfect for fishing and spotting seals. The beaches are that great that you’ll even find the local kangaroos resting on the beach shores! From Lucky Bay you can take in the stunning views of the Recherche Archipelago, a group of around 105 islands which include Middle Head Island, the location of the mesmerising pink lake, Lake Hillier. There are also many beach activities in Esperance to try including diving, fishing, sandboarding canoeing and four wheel drive beach safaris.
